DESCRIPTION
Extreme Heat Technology ensures efficient heating even at temperatures as low as -22°F. While traditional heat pumps struggle to provide effective heat below 30°F and often rely on expensive backup electric heating, the ACiQ Next Gen with Extreme Heat uses inverter technology to optimize refrigerant flow, maximizing heat extraction in extremely cold conditions. The backup electric heat only activates when temperatures fall below -22°F. The heat pump operates at full capacity at 0°F and maintains 80% efficiency at -22°F, helping you save up to 75% on heating costs during cold weather.
Inverter Condenser – Featuring advanced inverter technology, AC power is converted to DC, allowing the compressor in the condenser to adjust its speed. This dynamic adjustment enables the system to automatically regulate BTU output based on demand, ensuring efficient performance as weather conditions change.
Learning System – Equipped with a range of sensors, this system monitors indoor and outdoor temperatures, system performance, duct pressure, and refrigerant temperature. During startup, it enters a learning mode, gathering data to optimize efficiency for future cycles.
Sizing for Heat – The flexible inverter design allows the system to adjust based on heating demand. Unlike traditional heat pumps that may lead to excess humidity in the summer, the ACiQ Next Gen 2-ton heat pump automatically adjusts to function like a 1-ton unit, ensuring both comfort and dryness.
